The “Split” capsule lighting collection references the idea that the unified form (culture, society, and even the individual) is undergoing fragmentation today, giving rise to a new sense of wholeness in the form of a coordinate system. This concept is reflected in the design, where the classic spherical shape of the shade is divided into 8 parts, and between these segments, pathways — structures — are formed, aesthetically defining an alternative interpretation of the form. Now, the focus is no longer on the form itself, but on the structure that unites the parts. The collection of shades is now a set of individual parts held together by these internal structures. The visible wholeness is on the verge of disintegration, but it is held together by the internal frameworks.

Contemporary culture, society, and the human psyche are characterized by extreme discreteness and pluralism of various forms of existence. This reflects the fragmentation of wholeness and the creation of new forms based on other ways of being. The human personality integrates a multitude of contradictory experiences, identities, and behavioral patterns from others. Society is made up of diverse ethnicities and traditions, while culture today represents pluralism and the integration of various forms of existence and technological achievements.
In this modern context, the focus shifts from the form itself to what holds that form together as unity. These unifying elements become the primary forces that bind the integrity of the individual, society, and culture. These forces are understanding, acceptance, integration, and negation; logic, emotions, and the reevaluation of values; creativity, destruction, and creativity once again through transformation. These coordinate systems — binding and simultaneously dividing the unity and integrity of the form — became the central theme of the Split lighting collection.
